Caddis
The famed Mother’s Day Caddis hatch marks a pivotal shift out of winter and into the summer fishing season, driving anglers back to the water. The caddis is a major food source for trout year round. Abundant in clean cold waters there are tons of variety of Caddis, and their life cycle has four main parts: the larva stage, emerging pupa, the adult tent wing caddis, and the egg laying females. A mix of caddis flies in your box are always a good searching pattern when nothing seems to be hatching.
