"The Pink Pierre was developed over a short period of time while fishing with a good friend, Yankee Jim.
I had already tied a Black Wire Midge which worked very well and Yankee Jim had a pink Lightning type bug which also worked well and he mostly kicked my butt when we fished together so I decided to tie my Black Wire Midge in a little different pattern, in pink, and it became a fish catching fly for me.
I still have a hard time out fishing Yankee Jim, but I am catching up."
