SUPER TYPHOON HAIYAN
Ever since Super Typhoon Haiyan unleashed its fury on Micronesia, Palau and the Philippines last week, the people of these areas have been in and remain in the forefront of our minds and hearts. We have been in frequent touch with our colleagues in the affected areas to see how they are faring and what we can do to help. We are relieved to hear that they are all accounted for and safe.

"UMPQUA DAY" IN LOUISVILLE!
Last Wednesday, March 13th, we hosted a little get together here at Umpqua Headquarters, to which we invited a wide variety of people to celebrate the launch of our packs and bags and Field & Stream's declaration of the Ledges 500 as one of their 2013 Best of the Best. What made this a bit out of the ordinary for us was the wonderful mix of attendees at the event. In addition to some of our local dealers, royalty designers, representatives from local conservation groups, we also had representatives from the City of Louisville Government.
