During those low flows, slow water, flat water...or whatever water type situations, this pattern turns heads. An angler has the option to clip the hackle to reduce the profile for those situations when fish are more selective, but full hackle allows you to fish more turbulent water. I suggest keeping your patterns fully hackled and modifying them when necessary. An awesome pattern to target fish during a Blue Wing Olive hatch.
