IWAN-E-DUN THORAX

The Iwan-e-Dun was born from the logical desire to create a more realistic mayfly fly that caught more fish. Fare areas that I believed would make the standard dry fly more effective was to create a dry fly with an extended body, a larger hook gape, was easy to see on the water, be made in smaller patterns from a size 22-12 and could represent a BWO, PMD, Trico, Green Drake, Adams, and another mayfly variations. The thorax version of this fly rides high and is a lovely imitation of a mayfly dun.
