"An intruder, being a fly tied in two stages on the same shank or hook, are always kind of big for our summer steelhead fishing. So I thought I should tie some that are a little smaller for our summer season on the Deschutes or other rivers that you might need to use a sink tip certain times of the day. It’s a smaller profile than a lot of the other intruders that are out there."
