I have been fly fishing since I was 7 years old and tying flies since I was 8. My father instilled the love of fly fishing deep inside me. I have been guiding for 28 years. I have had the pleasure to pass on my experience and love of the sport to many anglers. Even more important, I have been able to pass on my love of fly fishing and tying to my daughter.
I have tied commercially for various shops in Denver and have taught many fly tying classes. While I spend most of my time on the rivers of Colorado and Wyoming. The love of saltwater fly fishing is my passion. I am proud and privileged to be a Signature Tyer For Umpqua!
