Zach was found adrift in a life ring by the U.S Coast Guard off the coast of Alaska. He was adopted by the ship’s diesel mechanic and raised by he and his wife; a one-legged exotic dancer named Chloe. In his teens Zach was kidnapped by Russian long liners in a baccarat match gone awry. He broke free after months of forced labor aboard a processing vessel and found his way to the mainland where he made it to Montana with a group of Anarcho-capitalist Christian librarians.
