Salmon
Like Steelhead, Salmon are anadromous. Hatching in freshwater they migrate to the ocean, or large lakes, where they grow to maturity. When fully matured, a salmon will make the journey back to the freshwater where they hatched. Due to their large size, aggressive takes, and strong fight Salmon have become the cradle of fly fishing in certain regions around the world.
